PLAINVILLE– Paradise Flats Quilt Co. is excited to announce the grand opening of its new space from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday.
A ribbon cutting will take place at 10 a.m.
“After months of preparation, we are thrilled to invite the community to celebrate this special milestone with us,” said Nichole Ganoung, owner of Paradise Flats Quilt Co.
While many customers have already had the opportunity to visit the shop, this event marks a chance to officially welcome everyone into a vibrant new space with strong historic roots in our community.
Paradise Flats Quilt Co. is designed to be a creative hub where all are welcome, inspiring creativity and fostering community. Our shop is unique in it’s offerings but also in the architecture of the exposed limestone walls and beautiful natural light, which is perfect for a quilt shop.
The grand opening event will feature treats from a local baker and exclusive deals on Necchi sewing machines and Laura Star ironing systems. In addition, they are offering fantastic door prizes from quilter’s favorite brands, including Quilters Dream batting, Aurifil threads, Creative Grids and Moda fabrics.
“We’ve loved meeting new faces and reconnecting with familiar ones throughout the past few months, and we are so grateful for the support we’ve received so far," Ganoung said.
"This space is built for everyone—whether you’re an experienced quilter or just beginning your creative journey,” she said.
The shop will offer a variety of fabrics and notions, longarm quilting services and sewing machine service and repair.
There are classes forming for experienced quilters and for new quilters. All are listed on the shop’s website.
“Thank you to everyone who has supported us so far. We look forward continuing to build a space that brings the community together,” Ganoung said.
