SHERMAN COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just before 11:30a.m. Tuesday in Sherman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2015 Infiniti Q50 driven by Jonathon D Huels, 20, St. Louis, Missouri, was eastbound on Interstate 70 just east of the Kansas 253 exit.
The driver lost control of the car when it struck a wintery mix of ice, snow and slush on the roadway. The car then entered the median area and struck a legally parked semi-trailer.
EMS transported Huels Goodland Regional Medical Center. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
