Paul D. Berkley, 91, formerly of Downs, passed away March 6, 2022.  He was born October 5, 1930, on a farm near Tescott, the son of H.J. and Paulina (Boller) Berkley. 

He is preceded in death by his wife, JoAnn in 2015; three brothers, Robert Berkley, Jack Berkley, Jerry Berkley, and sister, Arliene Matthews.

Paul is survived by his son Bill Berkley (Claudia) of Downs, Mary Berkley (Eryn and her daughter, Marian) of Salina; grandchildren Bradley Berkley (Lindy), Brandon Berkley (Laura) and Cara Filipski (Jon); great grandchildren, Bauer, Braden, Alexander, Carter and Lauren Berkley, Carsyn, Colby, Berkley Kate Filipski; brothers, Hal (Eleanor), Don (Pat), and Mike (Debbie); sisters-in-law, Lila Berkley and Eleanor Berkley and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Friday, March 11, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, Downs.  No Visitation.  Burial will be at the Franklin Cemetery, Tescott, at 2:30 p.m. on Friday afternoon.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to the Downs Senior Center and the United Methodist Church in care of Domoney Funeral Home, PO Box 127, Downs, KS 67437.
