
NEW ORLEANS - Both Fort Hays State track and field teams are listed in the top 20 of the initial USTFCCCA National Track and Field Ratings Index of the 2022 outdoor season, released Tuesday (March 29) by the coaches association. The women are 12th in the country, the top-ranked MIAA program, while the men are 18th in DII.
The women racked up seven provisional performances over the opening weekend, including three that rank in the top five nationally at this point of the season.
