BUNKER HILL — Smoky Hills PBS welcomes the premiere of the 21st season of Doctors on Call hosted by Jenna Miller. The live viewer call-in show will begin airing its new season on Tuesday, September 8th at 7 PM.
Doctors On Call is a live viewer call-in show featuring Kansas doctors and health care professionals discussing health-related topics. The doctors selected each week have expertise in the topic chosen for that program.
Doctors on Call has been a trusted source of information for communities across Kansas, offering viewers the opportunity to hear from medical professionals on a variety of topics ranging from chronic conditions to preventative care.
“We are excited to welcome Doctors on Call into a new season and a new time of year,” said Betsy Schwien, general manager of Smoky Hills PBS. “Moving the program to the fall gives us another opportunity to connect viewers with medical professionals from across the state and provide answers to the health questions that matter to them. We’re grateful to our viewers and to Prospectively Healthy & Wellness Clinic, Hays and Oakley, for helping make Season 21 possible.”
Viewers also have the opportunity to call in with questions liv during the show at 1-800-337-4788, or email questions in advance to doctors@shptv.org. Questions submitted through email must be received by noon on the day of the show.
