
The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday reported just one new COVID-19 cases had been identified in Ellis County from April 15 and 21.

Ellis County fell to the the low-incidence category (see map below), along with several other northwest Kansas counties. Wichita, Sheridan and Jewell counties were in the only counties in Kansas in the high-incidence category.

Since reporting began, there have been 8,478 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County.
