INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Two weeks after claiming the top spot in the high jump at the MIAA Indoor Championships, former Hays High standout and current Washburn Ichabod Jordan Dale found himself on the podium once again, finishing fifth at the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana.

On Friday, Dale came up just short of his school record 2.16m (7-01.00), which won him the MIAA Championship.

He cleared 2.14m (7-00.25) in Indianapolis for the fifth-place finish.

His teammate, Matthew Heckman, broke Dale's record last week and finished fourth with a height of 2.17m (7-01.50).

Dale is now a three-time All-American at Washburn.
