THOMAS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just before 12:30a.m. Saturday in Thomas County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 1984 GMC Jimmy driven by Alan M. Dibble, 37, Colby, backed out of a shop on private property at 1710 S Country Club Drive.
The driver accelerated excessively and began traveling westbound for approximately 132 feet before overturning. One occupant was partially ejected out of the rear window.
EMS transported Dalton M. Ellis, 25, Colby, to Citizen's Medical Center.
Dibble and three passengers were not injured. The occupants of the vehicle were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
