Linda Kay Crane

Linda Kay Crane, 69, died December 3, 2021, at her home in Lenexa.  She was born on October 7, 1952, in Dodge City, daughter of Robert Eugene and Marilyn Kay (Kennedy) Crane.

Linda grew up in Dodge City, graduating from Dodge City High School. After high school, she attended Kansas State University where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design.  Linda had spent the last several years of her life working as an executive administrator assistant for Sprint as well as T-Mobile.

Linda was an avid collector, having many different types of things she collected. She also loved spending time her Samoyed dogs. Linda also volunteered over the last ten years at Harvesters, Alzheimer’s Association, KCPREP, and Wayside Waifs. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

She is survived by his sister, Jana Mathes and husband Dr. John Mathes of Pratt; two brothers, Jon Crane and wife Anne of Scott City, and Mark Crane and wife Debra of Aurora, Colorado; as well as several nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Marilyn Crane; and her significant other, Ron Walters.

Memorial service will be held in the Wesley Chapel at the United Methodist Church of the Resurrection, 23720 Roe Ave Leawood, Kansas 66224 on Saturday, January 15, 2022, at 4:00 PM.
