Chambers completed medical school at the University of Kansas School of Medicine, Wichita.&nbsp; He completed a residency in internal medicine, also at the University of Kansas School of Medicine and a fellowship in hematology and oncology from the University of Iowa Hospitals, Iowa City, Iowa.&nbsp; He is board certified in internal medicine.

Chambers joins the cancer team of Anthony Accurso, MD, hematologist/oncologist, Lyle M. Harrison, MD, radiation oncologist, Matthey Mallory, MD, radiation oncologist, Robert Rodriguez, MD, hematologist/oncologist and Danni Eldred, APRN.
