Juan Olivares Herrera is back in custody as of Sunday afternoon after escpaing custody Saturday night.

Ellis County Sheriff Scott Braun reported at about 4 p.m. Sunday that Herrera was back in custody.

<a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/2ffe4367-c193-42e2-9228-1c6c0a92e021">According to the Ellis County Sheriff’s Department, the inmate escaped from custody Saturday evening while being transported from Hays Medical Center.</a>

Herrera was being held on the following charges: domestic battery, aggravated robbery and disorderly conduct.
