HODGMAN COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just before 8:30a.m. Thursday in Hodgeman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2007 Sterling Straight Truck driven by Aaron Anthony Lari, 44, Ness City, was northbound on Hodgeman County 216 Road approaching Kansas 156.
As the truck started to cross Kansas 156, it struck a westbound 2009 Chevy Silverado driven by Cain Villalobos-Hernandez, 34, Great Bend. After impact, the Chevy came to rest on 216 Road north of Kansas 156.
EMS transported Villalobos-Hernandez to the Hodgeman County Hospital and a passenger in the pickup Jessica Juana Villalobos, 40, Great Bend, to Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Lari was not injured. All three were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
