PHILLIPSBURG — In the early morning hours of February 14, 2021, deputies were dispatched to a reported shooting in the 600 block of 7th Street in Phillipsburg. The incident resulted in the death of Janna Lea Constable, 43.
Monday evening, July 22, at approximately 5:30 p.m., the Phillips County Sheriff's office executed an arrest warrant for 37-year-old Phillipsburg resident Kevin Lee Hadley, according to Sheriff Kyle Pinkerton, in a social media post.
Hadley was arrested on charges of second degree murder, interference with a law enforcement officer and possession of a firearm by an intoxicated person. He remains in custody with a $125,000 bond.
All persons are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
