The heat keeps on coming. The temperature in Hays Thursday reached to 105 degrees.

That tied the record of 105 degrees set in 1945 for September 3.

Hays and Ellis County, along with much of the region, is in a Heat Advisory issued by the National Weather Service in Dodge City. The advisory is in effect until 8 p.m. Sunday.

The <a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/9b07b27a-6224-4372-890e-d8c9069e70f0">three-day weather forecast</a> calls for temperatures to continue hitting 99 degrees and above, with little to no rain.
