Hays City Commissioner Mason Ruder is concerned about the two deadly drug overdoses this week of young people in Hays.
The Hays Police Department issued a news release Thursday afternoon about the incidents and their investigation.
In closing comments at Thursday night's city commission meeting, Ruder urged people to make smart choices and watch out for their family and friends.
A third person who overdosed is expected to survive.
