Harold 'Harry' Francis Roth

Harold (Harry) Francis Roth, of Overland Park, KS peacefully passed away surrounded by family, from complications of pancreatic cancer Tuesday October 6th, 2020, at the age of 71. 

In addition to an honorable husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and role model, Harry was a leading home builder in the Kansas City metropolitan area.  He developed his construction skills and work-ethic as a young man on the farm near his hometown of Victoria, KS where he was an exceptional athlete and home-coming king.  Following graduation from Fort Hays State University, he relocated to Kansas City, where he met his wife of 43 years and founded his construction business. Harry was a pillar of strength in his community. Harry leaves behind a legacy of honor, quality and craftsmanship with the relationships he nurtured and homes he built.

Harold is preceded in death by his parents Cecil J. Roth and Hermina (Minnie) Roth, brother Cecil C. Roth, niece Sabrina and nephew Sage Gartin. 

He is survived by his wife Beverly Roth, son Justin Roth (Stacy Roth), daughter Laura Jennison (Kallen Jennison), sister Donna Gartin (Spenser Gartin), brother Terry Roth (Laurie Roth), grandsons Holden Roth and Jack Jennison.  Harry will be fondly remembered by his close friends, colleagues, nieces, nephews and extended family.

A socially distant visitation is planned at 9:30 am, Rosary Vigil to begin at 10:15 am and Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Harry at 10:30 am Saturday, October 17, at Church of the Ascension of Overland Park, KS. Masks and social distancing required. For those who cannot attend in person, the service is to be live-streamed at the church website; kcascension.org.

Private burial to follow immediately after at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Lenexa, KS.  A larger celebration of life will take place at a later date due to COVID-19.
