PARKER, Colo. - The Hays Larks opened their four-game Colorado road trip with a 14-4 loss to the Gameday Saints Friday. The Saints scored in every inning, building a 9-0 lead before the Larks (4-2) scored four in the top of the sixth, three of the on a Cam Brown home run.
The Larks committed three errors which led to six unearned runs.
Starter Benjamin Baker-Livingston took the loss. The freshman from the University of New Mexico allowed six runs (four earned) on seven hits with three strikeouts and no walks .
Austen Jaslove and Cam Brown both had two of the Larks seven hits. Brown drove in three.
The Larks play at the Denver Cougars Saturday afternoon.
