After slamming Mexico Tuesday, remnants of Hurricane Polo continue moving north, bringing rain to much of Kansas.
In Hays, the official rainfall measurement at 8 a.m. was 0.30 of an inch at the K-State Agricultural Research Center south of town. The Eagle Media Center, 2300 Hall, received 0.18 overnight with light rain continuing.
The National Weather Service in Dodge City has issued a Flood Watch for Ellis County and most of western Kansas through 7 p.m. Thursday.
The three-day weather forecast calls for sunshine and cooler on Friday.
