Two Kansas men hospitalized after pickup, semi crash

THOMAS COUNTY—Two people were injured in an accident just after 10a.m. Monday in Thomas County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2013 Ford F150 driven by John Anderson, 74, Colby, was southbound on Kansas 25 approximately four miles north of Colby.

The pickup crossed the centerline while driving in the northbound lane and struck a 2000 Peterbilt semi driven by Javier Ochoa, 22, Garden City. After impact the pickup rotated sideways and rolled.

 EMS transported Anderson to HCA Healthone Swedish in Denver and Ochoa the hospital in Colby. The drivers were not wearing seat belts, according to the KHP.
