
A cold front moving into western Kansas on Friday will result in cold and blustery conditions across the area, the National Weather Service in Dodge City said.
With a Thursday high of 60 projected on Thursday, the high temperature Friday is only expected to get to 43 degrees.
Winds will pick up through the day Friday, with a northwest wind of 19 to 24 mph forecasts, as well as gusts up to 45 mph. The wind will calm somewhat heading into Saturday, dropping to 10 to 14 mph.
The Friday night low is forecast at 22 degrees.
Skies will remain clear through the weekend, the NWS said, with projected highs Sunday and Monday in the mid-50s.
