David Allan Craven, age 62, of Hays, Kansas, died Monday, February 28, 2022, at his home.

He was born August 11,&nbsp;1959, in Russell, Kansas, to Harold Dean and Mary Alice (Fleming) Craven. &nbsp;He married Rosalyn (Pearce) on August 27, 1982, in&nbsp;Hays, Kansas.

He worked the last six years at Walmart in maintenance and was at EnerSys for 14 years. &nbsp;He grew up in Russell and Hays. He attended Russell High School and was a 1977 graduate&nbsp;of&nbsp;Hays High School. &nbsp;He enjoyed cruising around in his car and listening&nbsp;to rock and roll.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;

Survivors&nbsp;include his wife, Rosalyn Craven, of the home; his son, Dennis Craven, of Hays, KS; and his brother, Michael Craven and wife, Darla, of Hays, KS.&nbsp;&nbsp;He was preceded in death&nbsp;by&nbsp;his parents; and his sister Lois LaRue&nbsp;and her husband, David.

A Celebration of Life Visitation will be from 5:30 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 East 22nd&nbsp;Street, Hays, Kansas 67601.

The family suggests memorials&nbsp;payable to the organization:&nbsp;St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or&nbsp;Tunnel To Towers {honoring military and first responders} in care of the&nbsp;mortuary.
