SYLVAN – The TMP-Marian Monarchs volleyball team earned a second-place finish Saturday at the Sylvan-Lucas tournament.
The Monarchs opened with a 3-0 record in pool play.
They defeated Lakeside (25-16, 25-18), Logan-Palco (25-11, 25-10) and Sylvan-Lucas (25-15, 27-25) to reach the championship match.
In the championship, the Monarchs fell in two sets 11-25 and 22-25.
