Helen E. Miller Cannon

Kirwin resident Helen E. Miller Cannon passed away Saturday, October 3, 2020, at the Phillips County Hospital, Phillipsburg, at the age of 97.

She was born June 18, 1923, in Sayre, Oklahoma, the daughter of Edgar V. and Merle Elizabeth (Addis) McCamon.

Survivors include her daughter Betty Still and husband Robert of rural Kirwin, KS; her son Ray Miller and wife Lorene of Claremore, OK; 5 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; a brother Bill McCamon and wife Joan of Amarillot, TX; and a sister Sue Weaver and husband Joe of Garden City, KS.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2020 at the Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg, with Pastor Michael Ricci-Roberts officiating.

Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 9, 2020 in the Berlin Cemetery, Berlin, OK.  Arrangements for graveside services will be by the Martin-Dugger Funeral Home in Elk City, OK.

Mrs. Miller Cannon will lie in state Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kirwin United Methodist Church or Kirwin Library.
