The Trego County Health Department on Tuesday announced four new cases of COVID-19 in the county.
Trego County currently has 30 total cases, including 14 active cases, 15 recovered and one death.
Among the new cases is one additional Trego County-Lemke Memorial Long Term Care resident. There have been a total of five residents test positive there.
There is a mask mandate in effect at both the hospital and the long-term care unit.
Kathleen Fabrizius, Trego County Emergency Management director, said last week the uptick in cases is related exposure at a recent event.
