Phillipsburg resident Burnell M. Goll passed away Wednesday, January 6th, 2021, at the Phillips County Retirement Center, Phillipsburg, at the age of 91.
He was born June 24, 1929, in Otis, Colorado, the son of Herbert and Elizabeth “Lizzie” (Grauerholz) Goll. He served in the United States Navy.
Burnell was united in marriage to Evelyn “Bum” Madison on August 18, 1955, in Kensington, Kanas.
Survivors include his wife Evelyn “Bum” of Phillipsburg; a son Micheal and wife Brenda of Salina, KS; a daughter MIchela Hiesterman and husband Joel of Phillipsburg; his brother Lawrence and wife Kay of Blue Hill, NE; 3 grandchildren Chandler Brass and wife Carissa of Stockton, KS, Spencer Brass of Los Angeles, CA, and Connor Brass and wife Mary Claire of Kansas City, KS; a great granddaughter Brooklyn Elizabeth Brass of Stockton; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Lizzie; sisters Myrnah Ratliff and Naomi Seibrass; brother’s-in-law, Walter “Fat” Bronson, Charles “Chuck” Philbrick, Eldon Ratliff, and Don Seibrass; sister-in-law Kathleen “Kassie” Bronson.
Cremation was planned. A memorial service will be held at a later time.
