
Marguerite Aileen Light, age 97, died February 2, 2021, in Villa Park, California.
She was born October 26, 1923, the daughter of George and Hazel King in Fairbury, Nebraska.
Aileen graduated high school in 1941 from Phillipsburg, Kansas. She
married the love of her life, James Light, together they raised two
daughters, Diana and Nancy. She went on to earn a college degree from
Asbury University in Kentucky and became a teacher. Aileen was an active
member in her church. She loved God and her Family. She was a talented
painter. She also loved to play the organ and make her own preserves.
Survived by:
Grandchildren, Suzy McCasey and husband, Tim, Toni Baird, Jim Carter
and wife, Shawna, Robert Hays and wife, Jennifer, and Kathy Kuhl and
husband Bill.
Son-in-laws, Michael Hays and Larry O’Handley.

Visitation will be at 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM on Friday, February 26, 2021, at the Hornung Family Funeral Home 1212 W. 2nd Street Liberal, Kansas
with graveside service to follow at Liberal Cemetery in Liberal.
