The fire marshal has ruled the cause of a fire at Fort That Bakery in Victoria as undetermined.

<a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/ad82cbcf-222b-40e6-8fac-c8e95e05faa5">Fire crews were called to the bakery, 201 E. Main, Tuesday night for a report of smoke coming from the roof of the building.</a>

Victoria Fire Chief John Weber said fire officials suspected the fire could have been electrical, but that could not be verified.

An insurance estimate on the damage has yet to be released.

Forty firefighters from the Victoria, Ellis and City of Hays fire departments responded to the fire, Weber said.

No one was inside the bakery at the time of the fire, and no one was injured.

Brooke Olson is the owner of the bakery, <a href="https://hayspost.com/posts/0abc8fc6-d062-4860-aa27-84c74eda9b1f">which opened in 2021</a>.
