The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Wednesday reported one new COVID-19 case in Ellis County had been identified in the past week.

As of Wednesday, the University of Kansas Health System reported two COVID-19 inpatients at HaysMed, both active cases.
Since reporting began, there have been 3,755 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 72 coronavirus-related deaths.
