The Kansas Department of Health and Environment on Monday reported one new COVID-19 case in Ellis County had been identified since Friday — the first new case reported since June 16.

As of Monday, the University of Kansas Health System reported one COVID-19 inpatient at HaysMed.

Since reporting began, there have been 3,761 cases of COVID-19 identified in Ellis County, including 73 coronavirus-related deaths.
