SALINA - After battling wind gusts of up to 40 miles per hour on Thursday in Dodge City, the Hays High boys golf team had a beautiful day with a light wind Friday in Salina at the Salina South Invitational, and the scores showed it.
The Indians edged Emporia by one stroke to win the team title at the Salina Municipal Golf Course. Hays had three place in the top 10. Braden Hoskins finished second with an even-par 71. Jason Krannawitter was third with a 3-over-par 74 and Weston Hoskins finished 10th with an 81.
