ELLIS COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 2:30p.m. Thursday in Ellis County.
The Kansas. Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Chevy Cavalier driven by Jeffrey A. Kaiser, 52, Hays, was traveling on the. U.S. 183 Bypass a quarter mile east of Main Street.
The car rear-ended a 2010 Suzuki Equator driven by Kimberly S. Converse, 58, Garfield, who had stopped to turn left into the city park.
EMS transported Kaiser to Hays Med. Converse was not injured. Two juveniles were present in the pickup, juvenile record is protected data, according to the KHP. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
