COLBY – The TMP-Marian softball moved to 8-0 on the season with a doubleheader sweep of Colby Tuesday by scores of 12-2 and 15-3. The Monarchs are back on the road next Tuesday at Haven.
TMP-Marian returns to action Tuesday with a doubleheader in Colby.

Brynn Rebel (4-0) struck out 14 batters. The right-hander allowed two runs on
five hits while working around seven walks.
Bria Windholz had three hits including a solo home run to center field in the second inning. Paige Koenigsman drove in a run in the third with a double to center to push the lead to 3-1. The Monarchs took control with three in the fifth and four in the sixth. Rebel added a two-run homer in the seventh.
Koenigsman finished with four hits with Rebel, Windholz, Koenigsman, and Hannah Rose each droving in two runs.
Game 2: TMP-Marian 15, Colby 3 (5
innings)
Down 3-2 after one, the Monarchs scored six in the second then added six in the
fifth.
Brynn Rebel had three hits and Paige Koenigsman drove in three runs. Rebel singled in the first, doubled in the second and singled again in the fourth and drove in two runs. Bria Windholz (3-0) earned the win, allowing three unearned runs with six strikeouts and one walk.
