SALINA - The Hays High
boys soccer team put up a good fight last night but falls 2-1 on penalty kicks at
Salina Central in their 5A regional opener. Central outscores Hays 4-2 on the
penalty kicks to advance to play Great Bend tomorrow.
The Indians end their season 4-13.
TMP-Marian’s match with Berean Academy was postponed due to weather. They will play Wednesday afternoon at 4:00 pm in Elbing.
The fifth-seeded Monarchs received a bye in their play-in game with Elyria Christian due to COVID.
