SHERMAN COUNTY—Three people were injured in an accident just after 4p.m. Sunday in Sherman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2011 Chevy Avalanche driven by Chrystal Marie Aldaco, 28, Little Elm, TX, was westbound on Interstate 70 just west of County Road 3.
The vehicle crossed over a bridge, hit a patch of ice and the driver lost control.
The Avalanche slid into the median, struck the eastbound inside guardrail, overturned and came to rest on its top in the eastbound driving lane.
EMS transported Aldaco and two children to the hospital in Goodland. They were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
