ELLIS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 7:30a.m. Tuesday in Ellis County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2017 Toyota Highlander driven by Paul Gross, 73, Gorham, was northbound on U.S. 183 from Interstate 70. The SUV traveled off the road to the right, struck the embankment, a power pole and came to rest on its side.
EMS transported Gross to Hays Medical Center. He was properly restrained, according to the KHP.
