To allow those who wish to pay their respects to Sgt. Scott Heimann, City of Hays of Hays offices will be closed on Friday, Oct. 3.
Residential trash pickup will be affected by the closure. Residents with a normal collection day on Friday, are asked to have their refuse available for pickup by 7 a.m. Thursday.
Normal route collections will begin on Mondy, Oct. 6.
Additionally, the City Commission work session scheduled for 4:00 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 2, has been cancelled.
The City Commission meeting scheduled for 4 p.m. Oct. 9, has also been cancelled.
