SHERMAN COUNTY—One person was injured in an accident just after 2:30p.m. Thursday in Sherman County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Dodge Durango driven by Destiny Star Barrett, 43, Goodland, was southbound on Kansas 27 ten miles north of Goodland.
When the driver attempted to make a left turn onto County Road 74, a northbound Freightliner semi driven by Reynaldo Gonzalez, 32, Manassas Park, Virginia, struck the SUV.
EMS transported Barrett to the hospital in Goodland. Gonzalez was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained, according to the KHP.
