Ellis County will conduct a budget hearing at 5:15 p.m. Monday at the Ellis County Administrative Center.
The proposed budget keeps the mill levy flat at 36.910 mills. The proposed budget is $26,557,396. This is compared to actual expenditures of $25,862,533 for 2019.
The board in its regular meeting will consider bids for bonds for road and bridge work.
The board is also set to consider replacing an existing stop sign with a yield sign in the 2300 block of Saline River Road and adding a yield sign at the opposite end of the road triangle.
