HAYS - The TMP-Marian girls’ golf team finished second in their own tournament Monday at Smoky Hill County Club.
The Monarchs shot a 411 which was still 32 shots back of first-place Wamego. Plainville finished third with a 421.
The Cardinals Corbyn Marquess was top medalist with an 80. TMP-Marian’s Allison Applequist shot a 93 and placed sixth. Teammate Ella Brummer was seventh with a 98.
Hays High’s Lily Garrison, playing on the junior vardity team, shot a 99 and placed eighth.
