BUNKER HILL – “The Dolly Madison Murders” is a new documentary which will air on Smoky Hills PBS on Saturday, October 28 at 8 p.m. and then re-air on October 31 at 10 p.m.

“We are able to bring another great local documentary to Smoky Hills PBS because of the support from our viewers!” said Betsy Schwien, Smoky Hills PBS general manager.  “This is a must see for everyone as it takes a deep dive into an unsolved murder case right here in Kansas.”

This documentary goes back to September 2002, where two women were found dead inside the Dolly Madison bakery in Great Bend. Twenty years later, a filmmaker who grew up near the bakery, is determined to shed light on the case and find justice for the victims. With interviews, evidence analysis, and community involvement, the film investigates potential suspects, including someone who may be hiding in plain sight.
