ELIS COUNTY —One person was injured in an accident just after 7:30a.m. Monday in Ellis County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2019 Dodge mini van driven by Danielle A. Still, 39, Ellis, was eastbound on Interstate 70 four miles east of Ellis.
The van rear-ended a 2017 GMC van driven by Czarli A. Rex, 44, Eureka, that was traveling 45-50 mph due to the sun shining in the driver's eyes.
EMS transported Still to Hays Medical Center. Rex was not injured. Both drivers were properly restrained at the time of the accident, according to the KHP.
