Sharon A. Johnson, 79, passed away on November 14, 2021 in Oberlin, KS.
She was born on April 4, 1942, to Alvin (Bud) and Carmie Wickham in
Hays, KS. She grew up and graduated from Hays High School.
In 1960, she married Alvin S. Johnson and helped with the family
farm and raising their kids. Sharon enjoyed arts and crafts, cooking,
family time with her children and grandchildren, and moving furniture
because it just wasn’t right. Her flower garden brought much joy to
herself and to anyone who came to visit.
Sharon is survived by her sister-in-law, Cindy Johnson. Her three
children, Douglas and Terri Johnson (Colorado); Jeannie and Roger Lavers
(Kansas); and Dallas and Rebecca Johnson (Missouri). Her grandchildren
are Travis and Vickie Johnson; Kirsten Lavers; Meghan and Dan Tracy;
Caitlin and Evan Acuff; and A.J., Gage, and Quincy Johnson. Great
grandchildren are Kyler and Kohen Johnson and Case Tracy.
She is proceeded in death by her husband, Alvin, her parents, sister Glennis Bunker, and granddaughter Tiffany Johnson.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
