Some residents in Rush County got a good look at a landspout early Tuesday evening as some severe storms popped up in the region.

The brief landspout was located northwest of Liebenthal just after 6 p.m.,&nbsp;according to the National Weather Service in Dodge City.&nbsp;

A second land spout was reported near Nekoma also about 6 p.m.

Tuesday's very isolated storms included heavy rainfall. Nearly 1.5 inches fell near Otis.

Quarter-size hail and heavy rain was reported in Pawnee County.&nbsp;
