Jeanne returned briefly to teaching before moving onto the Minnesota Technical College system where to worked on energy efficiency projects and grant writing. Though Jeanne would spend the rest of her days living in Minnesota she always called Kansas her true home and visited every chance she could. Jeanne’s favorite way to spend her time was with her three children and their families. She loved to walk, garden, try new recipes, and sew.

Survivors include her 3 children, Jennifer King of Northfield, MN, Bartley Brownback of Pine Island, MN, and Emily (Dave) Cravens of Aliso Viejo, California; 5 grandchildren, Lilly and Zachary King and Isabel, Jackson, and Genevieve Cravens; sibling Barbara (Wayne) Brent of Baldwin, Missouri.
