Tamara "Tammi" Kay Barnes, age 59, of Goodland passed away February 3, 2021 after a long battle with breast cancer.
Tammi was born February 7, 1961 to James and Janice (Smith) McClelland in Goodland. She spent her childhood in Goodland, where her father and mother owned the local Yamaha dealership. She enjoyed time spent riding her horse and watching her brother race motorcycles.
On April 28, 1978 she married Roger Skrdlant. To this union three children were born, Christopher, Carla and Jill.
Tammi enjoyed gardening, crafting, traveling, dearly loved spending time with her family and friends, and had a special talent for making any and everything beautiful.
She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents; brother, Jimmy McClelland; and niece, Jenny McClelland.
Tammi is survived by her son, Christopher Skrdlant of Kearney, NE; daughter, Carla Sumner and her children Skylar, Clayton, and Caleb Sumner of Norton, KS; daughter, Jill (Jamie) Dole and her children Gage, Jace, and (baby due in March) of Norton, KS; sister, Rhonda (Dale) Skrdlant of Alliance, NE and their son Jeremy of Goodland, KS; nephew, Tyler McClelland of Goodland, KS; and special friend, Larry Hachmeister of Goodland, KS.
