HAYS – The Hays High girl’s tennis team finished second at their own invitational Thursday. Scott City won the team title with 28 points. HHS scored 25 and Norton 23.
The Indians were led by Morgan Shorb who won No. 2 singles and Caroline Robben and Sage Zweifel who won No. 2 doubles. Both Shorb as well as Robben and Zweifel went 4-0 on the day.
Maggie Robben finished fourth in No. 1 singles and the No. 1 doubles team of Taylor Deines and McKena McBride finished in a three-way tie for second but placed fourth.
