The Fort Hays State women's basketball team moved up once again in the national polls this week (Feb. 8), climbing to fourth in both the WBCA DII Coaches Poll and the D2SIDA Media Poll. The Tigers picked up one first-place vote in each poll this week.

This is the second time the Tigers have been slotted fourth in the coaches poll this season after FHSU was fourth in the preseason ranks. The Tigers also spent one week in fourth after the first regular season release of the media poll (11/16/21).

The Tigers are 14-1 when ranked fourth in the WBCA DII Coaches Poll and 130-34 all-time when ranked in the poll during the DII era.

Glenville State, the lone undefeated team in Division II, sits atop the coaches poll for another week, while Ashland is first in the media poll. The Tigers are the lone MIAA program ranked according to the media, while Missouri Western rose one spot to 21st in the latest coaches release.

Fort Hays State returns to Gross Memorial Coliseum to host Rogers State on Thursday (Feb. 10, 5:30 p.m.) before facing off with Northeastern State at home on Saturday (Feb. 12, 2:00 p.m.)
