
Betty June Oller, 91, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022, at The
Retreat at Church Ranch in Westminster, Colorado. She was born on June
14, 1930, in Dodge City, Kansas, to John and Esther (Reimen) Randle. June
married Billy Dean Oller on June 1, 1952, at Pleasant Plains Friends
Church in Byers, Kansas.
As a child she was a member of Pleasant
Plains Friends Church. Betty earned her nursing diploma from St. Joseph
Hospital in Wichita, KS. She worked as a surgical nurse in Pratt, KS
until having her first child. Betty moved with her husband and daughter
to Denver, Colorado shortly before having her son. After her children
were in school, she returned to work in a nursing home as a registered
nurse. She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church and later, Calvary
Temple in Denver, Colorado. She enjoyed gardening, especially her roses,
playing card games, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She
is survived by her children, Nannette Sloan of Firestone, Colorado and
Paul (Becky) Oller of Hays, Kansas; grandchildren, Scott (Aryn) Sloan of
Erie, Colorado; Shaun Sloan of Mead, Colorado; Kate (Urie) VonFeldt of
Firestone, Colorado; Jena (David) Stunkel of Lenexa; Briana (Michael)
Towner of Redmond, Oregon and 12 great grandchildren.
Betty is
preceded in death by her husband, Billy Dean Oller; parents; son-in-law,
Roger Sloan; brothers, Wayne Gordon Randle and William Eugene Randle;
and sister, Doris Pinkerton.
Services were Saturday, February
26, at Larrison Mortuary.
