⛳ HHS second at Garden City, finish second in the WAC standings

GARDEN CITY - The Hays High girls golf team closed out their regular season with a second-place finish at Thursday's Garden City Invitational at the Buffalo Dunes Golf Course.

The Indians shot a 410, 57 strokes behind first place Garden City who won the WAC title. HHS finished second in the team standings which are determined by cumulative results throughout the season.

The Indians had two medalists. Kinley Pfannenstiel finished fourth with a 91 and  Eva Erbert fifth with a 96.

WAC Player of the Year Brooke Savolt of Garden City won the individual title with a 5-over par 77. Pfannenstiel was named first team All-WAC, Brooklyn Koerner and Lily Butler were named second team.

The Indians will be at the Salina South Sub-Statel Monday.
