⛳ Schoepf finishes in top-10 at 3-2-1A state

SALINA - TMP-Marian’s Brynn Schoepf shot a final round 89 for a two-day total of 170 and placed eighth at the 3-2-1 girls’ state golf tournament at the Salina Municipal Golf Course.

The Monarchs had three individuals advance to day two. Enna Wasinger, who shot a 96 Monday, finished with a 94 in the final round and placed 33rd with a 190. Paige Koeningsman finished the final day with a 111 and finished in 49th place with a two-round total of 205.

Goodland’s Allison Cure won the individual title with rounds of 73 and 77 to edge St. Mary’s Colgan’s Danielle Yaghmour by one stroke. Goodland won the team title with a 345, five shots better than Jefferson West.
